Explainer Videos Used To Be An Engaging Way Of Explaining Your Company
But in 2025…
They’ve become so overused that most prospects zone out in the first 10 seconds.
(It’s why the average view rate is just 11%).
Prospects Are Tired Of:
The cliche “problem-to-solution” script…
The monotone narrators…
And the cheap, tacky visuals.
(Like these):
A Better Way In 2025 Is To Make Your Explainers Feel Like Movies
Movies have a unique ability to draw people in…
Change the way we feel…
And inspire action.
It’s why the average person watches 3.2hrs of Netflix every single day.
And why Hollywood is worth $97 billion.

Who Are Instinct Animations?
Well, firstly…Â we’re an award-winning animation studio with an average of 4.99/5 stars across Google, Clutch, and G2.Â
But perhaps more importantly, we used to be an explainer video agency.
We started out in 2015 creating explainer videos for clients of all shapes and sizes.
But after seeing engagement rates go down year after year, we knew something had to change.
That’s when we began studying The Movies – devouring filmmaking courses, consulting with an Oscar nominated Hollywood Producer (with $1billion in Box Office), and applying everything we learned in our videos.
And that’s when the Explainer Movieâ„¢ was born.
