A die-hard Liverpool FC fan, former high-school rockstar, and aspiring novelist, Kyle joined in 2020 to build “Instinct 2.0” after spearheading several award-winning ABM campaigns for the biggest brands in the world like Dell, Shell, Adobe, and Redhat.
Initially started Instinct in 2015 as a “side-hustle” (and with no clue in the world what’s actually involved in running a business), Steve has grown it year upon year into an award-winning studio that partners with some of the best brands in the world.
The man with the golden locks. Although currently living in the US, Christian is a Nomad at heart; you’ll regularly find him working from Airbnb’s in Switzerland, Belgium, Croatia, England, Germany… to name a few recents.
He paced the narrow 4 walls of the restroom cubicle…
Hands clammy and trembling.
A rhetorical question ricocheting the inner dome of his skull:
“Am I really gonna go through with this?”
It was London, September 19th, 2015.
Approximately 4:29pm.
Our Founder, Steve, had just finished a team meeting at his day job, and rushed off to take a call in the restroom.
But it wasn’t just any call.
It was his first ever “sales call” for Instinct Animations.
And he had no idea what he was going to say.
He’d started this whole thing as a bit of an experiment.
A test of whether he had “what it takes” to actually start a business.
Surely nobody would actually take it seriously?
Yet here he was, with a prospect waiting on the other end of the line.
He cleared his throat, put on his most professional “I know what I’m doing” voice…
“Hello, it’s Steve Pope from Instinct Animations”.
